Laura Churchman is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) who is passionate about educating and advocating for the health of children. She attended Wright State University for both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Nursing degrees. In addition to her experience as a PNP, she also has served in the mission field in Desarmes, Haiti with the organization Breath of Life Haiti. In this capacity, she worked to educate pregnant women and new mothers about living a healthy lifestyle, family planning, the process of labor, and how to care for a newborn. She also served in their general medical clinics.
She approaches health with a whole body technique, working to identify root causes and the best integrative interventions to achieving optimal health. She values informed consent and medical freedom, believing it is each parent’s right to play an active role in determining the interventions they feel is best for their child
